    Beginners are welcome: if you're new to beekeeping, you'll have a chance to get hands-on experience with bees. All we ask is that you join the club if you haven't already. Please register for this event so we know how many people are coming.

    Ukrainian filmmaker Lana Shapoval presents footage of the Minefields Honey project in action.  An introduction will be provided by Caverlee Cary, a local Ukraine advocate.

The nonprofit Alameda County Beekeepers Association, established in 1916, provides education, support and resources for beekeepers and the public.

  • Speakers on honeybee biology, behavior and husbandry

  • Educational booth at the Alameda County Fair

Scheduled ACBA meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the second Tuesday of most months at the San Leandro Senior Community Center, 13909 E 14th Street, San Leandro CA 94578. However, meetings are often held in other outdoor locations during the summer months; see the in-person meeting schedule for details.

Everyone is welcome — members and non-members alike. In addition, special guest speaker presentations are often held via Zoom on the third Tuesday of the month; check the speaker schedule for details.
